Our stall was available for both days of the conference with plenty of information on the Midlands Health Alliance’s successes and goals as well as information from some of our members. It was a great opportunity for us to talk to colleagues in alliance member infrastructures and to promote the opportunities afforded by our vision of working together to improve quality and quantity of biomedical research in the midlands. With the national reach of the conference we also were able to speak to several people outside of the midlands or from infrastructures outside of our current alliance to strengthen ties and create new contacts.

We enjoyed talking to everyone and hearing about the exciting research coming out of midlands biomedical research centres. We love the opportunities to talk to you all individually and to answer any questions you have and hear your ideas for how to further strengthen biomedical research in the midlands.

We look forward to attending again next year in Leicester and will be attending many more conferences around the region – look out for us!
